Car Notes
2011.01.17 Ebay

Doylestown, Pennsylvania

After almost four years of ownership I am a sad to say it is time to sell my 2000 Camaro SS. Here is a quick break down on the cars specs, read further for more in depth description.

2000 Camaro SS

Hard Top

Six Speed Manual Transmission

Leather Interior

97,798

Upgrades:

-Pacesetter Headers

-Texas Speed Y Pipe

-Magnaflow Cat Back

-MTI Carbon Fiber Lid

-Ported Stock Throttle Body

-LS6 Intake Manifold

-LS6 Crankcase ventilation system (ls1's suck a lot of oil into the intake, this reduces the amount of oil that enters the intake)

-Powdered coated valve covers, coil brackets, tb and maf

-New Headlights

-Pioneer Head Unit with ipod adapter wired into the glove box

-Clutch has was replaced two years ago, has no more than 5000 miles on it, probably closer to 3000.

The Bad (not much!)

-Header Bolt Broken off, could use a heli coil to get it out or reverse tap.
-The blemishes I have pictured
-There is a little plastic piece that covers the inside side view mirror bolts, I have the cover I just lost the little screw
-Exhaust hanger on passenger side needs a piece to line up correctly, that is why its a little lower than the drivers

Mechanically this car is sound, the only repair I have had was a clutch replacement and it was replaced with the stock cltuch. There are a few modifications made to the car, there is no internal engine work, just exhaust and intake upgrades. I got it dynoed (measure of horse power and torque) a few
years ago and the car runs strong, she dynoed at 350 hp and 350 ft lbs tq. This was before the ls6
intake and I do have the dyno graph. I would imagine it has somewhere near 365 hp and 365 ft lbs tq with the ls6 intake and ported throttle body.! I have
personally never been to the track with this car, you can believe me if you want but I
have never even done a burn out in it. I bought the car with 89,000 miles on it its just getting close to 98,000 so as you can tell I have not drive the car all that much. Overall the mileage for this car is very low.The interior is in excellent shape, the seats have no rips and show a lot less wear than similar cars, the carpet is in good condition, there are no cracks in the dash. There are a few squeaks and rattles but that is too be expected with these cars. There are a few stains in the back carpet area, they were there when I bought the car. I honestly did not even notice there were stains on the passenger side rear until today as I am never back there and have only had passengers in the rear a few times. As you can see there is an after market pioneer head unit, I bought the ipod adapter and its wired into the glove box and it works perfectly. The exterior is in good condition, check the pictures of the few scratches that are on the car. The roof has minor bubbling which is common on these cars, but it is not bad and there is no peeling or clear coat failure. The car cleans up very nice and I always make sure there is some sort of wax or sealant protecting the paint. Whatever flaws are on the paint are just from normal wear and tear of a 10 year old car. The few scratches that are pictured and are small, but the close ups make them look bigger. They are about 2-3 inches long at most and the scuff on the back bumper can be buffed out, there is no depth to it, it is not a scratch or anything like that.
I strive to take very good care of my possessions and this is no exception, I loved every minute of owning this car. This car gets a lot of looks, however, its time to move onto something else. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I am open to offers but I will not respond to low balls. Thanks.
