Katy, Texas 77450 Mileage: 35,000 Selling Price TBD This 2000 Chevrolet Camaro is a 35k-mile SS coupe that resided with its original owner until it was purchased in 2006 by the current owner, who commissioned Motorsport Technologies Inc. (MTI) of Houston, Texas, to install various modifications. Components from the company include a C2 camshaft, Stage 2 cylinder heads, and revised engine management for the 5.7-liter LS1 V8, which also has an underdrive pulley kit and an LS6 intake manifold. Further revisions include a 3,600-rpm Yank stall converter for the four-speed automatic transmission, 3.23:1 gears for the Torsen limited-slip differential, a Borla exhaust system, Hooker long-tube headers, and cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The suspension is equipped with Koni adjustable shocks, Strano springs, and a Hotchkis panhard bar and lower control arms. The seller notes that the car was parked outdoors for a period of time before a recent mechanical recommissioning, which included cutting out a rusted area beneath the removable roof panels in preparation for future cosmetic bodywork and replacing drive belts, gaskets, fluids, and various engine sensors. This fourth-generation Camaro SS has been in Texas since new and is now offered by the seller on behalf of their family member at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a Texas title in the owner’s name. |
